My name is Jamie Colloty, and I am a medical doctor from South Africa, currently completing my community service medical year in the South Africa Military Health Services. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of the Witwatersrand, before completing my 2 year internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital. Since then, I have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from the University of South Wales, and a Diploma in HIV a management from the College of Medicines of South Africa. I am currently completing a postgraduate diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at Wits University, and I am enrolled as a part time Masters of Public Health Student at Imperial College London. I am passionate about global health and infectious diseases, and am a strong advocate for antimicrobial stewardship.
