Three of us, Talam, Michele and George knew each other from interacting in various discussions surrounding school work as well as social issues and Tracy was an acquaintance to us. Faith on the other hand was introduced to us by a former team member. We instantly cliqued and got close bonded by our passion for the program, its aims and also by the fact that most of us engage in various forms of activism and community-based programs aimed at addressing various issues in modern society. George discovered and introduced the program to us. As a group, we hope to achieve several things, to understand how
AMR related to other disciplines aside from Medical-related disciplines, to further our understanding on what we can do in our different fields and capacities to contribute to AMR management, to network and learn from the presenters and other students from all over the continent not only on AMR but also other aspects in our different and diverse countries and fields, to integrate our theoretical knowledge on the matter with the actual situation on the ground, to save lives by creating awareness on AMR.

Firstly in Kiswahili (National Language):
AMR ni hali ya dawa kukosa kufanya kazi vifaavyo. Magonjwa mengi yanayosababishwa na wadudu kadhaa kwa wanyama na wanadamu hutibiwa kwa kutumia dawa zinazoitwa antibiotics. Dawa hizi zinapotumika visivyo ama kwa wingi, wadudu hawa wanakuza kinga kutokana nazo na hivyo zinakuwa hazifanyi kazi tena. Hii inasababisha mwili kutoweza kupigana na haya magonjwa na kuwadhuru wanadamu na wanyama kiafya.
Secondly, in Kikuyu (Central Kenya):
AMR ni murimu kuregana na dawa ni undu wa nyamu iria irehaga murimu kumenya kwigita dawa iyo. Uundu uyu urehagwo ni maundu matiganite ta mihuthirire miuru ya dawa icio, wagu wa utheru miciini uria urehaga mirimo miingi, kwaga umenyo na wagi wa dawa na watho wa mihuthirire ya dawa ici. Ni undu urehete wagagu thi ngima na ukanina andu aingi muno gukira ona mukingo kana malaria.
Thirdly, in Luhya (Western Kenya):
Mundu arumiranga msala na lobha khumala idosi yo khurumire tawe, amani ke fiini kishirangaa amani ka msala, lano omusala sikhola ikazi tawe. Bhulware bhuendelea sa khubhaa bhibha hutinyu husira, bhirimbu mundu alekhonyeseria sende chinyingi khuesirisha.
Fourthly, in Kalenjin (Rift Valley Region):
AMR – Miondo ne mogose kerichek.

Finally, in Kisii (Lake Victoria Region):
