Robin Berghaus

Robin Berghaus leads communications strategies for CARB-X, a global non-profit dedicated to addressing the health threat of drug-resistant bacteria. Throughout her career, Robin has written feature articles and produced documentaries that translate complex ideas into compelling human interest stories. Her projects have garnered multiple awards, and have been exhibited at international film festivals, on PBS and as part of Alfred P. Sloan Foundation’s Science on Screen. She serves as a film envoy for American Film Showcase, a cultural diplomacy program produced by the US Department of State and embassies to promote STEM education, entrepreneurship and human rights with global communities. She has served as a production consultant, keynote speaker, distinguished lecturer and juror for film festivals, universities and non-profits. Robin has an interdisciplinary background in science and film. She holds a BS in biology from Boston College, and an MFA in film production from Boston University.
